oooooh blogging!

OK, I'm new at this so bare with me....
How many times do we have to use the above phrase in our lives? I have had to say it at every new job I have started, a lot during my teenage years and early experiences with boys, about a hundred times to my newborn son as we struggled with feeding, changing, bathing him etc and now I find myself using it to introduce myself to anyone who might read this.
Im not someone who considers themselves good at writing (ask any of my college lecturers and they will tell you how few written asignments I handed in!) and yet I find myself at a loose end now that I'm a stay at home mum so I thought I would give this a go.
I love my son and the time we get together but I did not know how hard it would be. I knew I would spend most days changing nappies, feeding, burping and playing with my son but I didnt know how exhausting and isolating the whole experience could be. I am making efforts (as part of my new years resolution) to take more time for myself and this blog is the first step of many towards being a happier and healthier person as that way I can be a much better mum, partner and friend.
So if you have read this and dont think Ive done a very good job, please be kind and bare with me. Im new to this and as with all things in life I will get better at it!
